This image of Bognor Regis pier is what is called an HDR (high dynamic range) photograph. It is made up of three individual photos of different exposures. One is under exposed, one is normal exposure and one is over exposed. These are then stacked together in a special HDR program that combines all three images to produce a much higher dynamic range of colours and shadows.
